Wall Putty /Skimcoat

Wall Putty (Skim Coat) is also called as wall putty. It is used for wall to supply leveling and coverage function before finishing paints. It's mainly divided to normal Wall Putty (Skim Coat), gypsum based Wall Putty (Skim Coat), and flexible Wall Putty (Skim Coat).

GUUDPOLY^® Redispersible Polymer Powder improves adhesion strength, compressive strength, flexural strength, waterproof performance to prolong the lifespan of constructions. GOODCEL^® Cellulose Ethers supply thickening, water retention, and improve workability. GOODCEL^® Modified Starch and other additives can effectively improve cohesion, bond strength and durability of putty to the substrate. Bentonite clay supply thixotropy and anti-segregation to improve workability.

Interior Wall Putty/Skim Coat

Interior Wall Putty (Skim Coat), also widely known as conventional wall putty, is a basic surface finishing material essential for wall renovation and construction projects. Normal Wall Putty (Skim Coat) mainly uses cement or lime as the core binder, mixed with mineral fillers such as talc powder, calcium carbonate and a variety of functional additives including RDP, water retention agents, rheological agent, anti-cracking agents. As a universal wall leveling compound suitable for  interior substrates, it serves as the intermediate smoothing layer between wall plasters and topcoat paint. Its primary function is to fill tiny cracks, uneven joints and surface depressions left by masonry or plaster work, creating a smooth, flat and uniform base surface for subsequent primer and decorative coating construction.

Flexible Wall Putty/Skim Coat

Flexible Wall Putty (Skim Coat) chooses cement or lime as base binder. It’s designed mainly for exterior wall as fine leveling and coverage material.

Flexible Wall Putty (Skim Coat) owns high flexibility, good adhesion strength, anti-hydrolysis. It provides a solid leveling substrate for building façade and improves anti-crack of building surface, thereby extending lifespan of building exterior paint.

Waterproof Wall Putty/Skim Coat

Waterproof Wall Putty (Skim Coat) is a high-performance modified wall levelling compound specially engineered for damp-prone, humid and water-exposed wall surfaces, far superior to conventional normal Wall Putty (Skim Coat) in moisture resistance and substrate protection.

It adopts high-strength cement as the main binding component, compounded with waterproof redispersible polymer powder, hydrophobic additives, anti-cracking fibers, mineral fillers and cellulose ethers. Unlike ordinary lime-based Wall Putty (Skim Coat) with weak water resistance, its polymer-modified system forms a compact, impermeable hard film after curing to block capillary water penetration from wall base.

Gypsum based Wall Putty/Skim Coat

Gypsum based Wall Putty (Skim Coat) is a fast-setting wall leveling material with micro-expansion, it use gypsum as base binder. 

Gypsum based Wall Putty (Skim Coat) supplies fast setting, good hardness, high adhesion strength, good workability, easy to operate. Its application and curing wont be affected by weather. It cures very fast.

Gypsum-based Wall Putty (Skim Coat) is a quick-setting interior wall leveling compound with slight micro-expansion characteristics, which takes gypsum as the core binding material instead of cement or lime.

Distinct from cement-based and waterproof Wall Putty (Skim Coat)s, it stands out with ultra-fast setting speed and minor micro-expansion during hardening, effectively preventing shrinkage cracks on wall surfaces. The finished layer achieves high surface hardness and powerful adhesion to plasterboard, concrete and masonry substrates. It offers excellent workability with smooth spreading and simple sanding after curing.
